23 December 2016 - Czech Airlines To Launch New Malmö - Prague Route in 2017 Summer Season

Czech Airlines extends its timetable by adding a new regular Malmö – Prague service. Alongside Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping and Växjö, Malmö is the fifth destination in Sweden to where Czech Airlines will be operating regular scheduled flights. The carrier plans to service the Malmö route, which will be launched on 28 March 2017, year round. Czech Airlines will operate the route from Prague to Malmö four times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with ATR 72 turbo propeller aircraft with a capacity of 70 seats. Flights to Malmö will take about an hour and a half.

 

The Malmö route connects to a number of Czech Airlines’ regular scheduled flights from Prague, for example to Beirut, Moscow, Skopje, Seoul and other destinations.

 

One-way tickets to Malmö start at CZK 1,970, while return tickets can be purchased from CZK 3,385 including all airport charges. Czech Airlines will launch the Prague – Malmö route ticket sales later today within the entire ticket distribution network, i.e. via Czech Airlines’ websites www.csa.cz and www.czechairlines.com, ticketing offices, travel agencies and online selling points.

In the 2017 summer season, Czech Airlines will also add frequencies on its Stockholm route, to offer a daily connection, and service Gothenburg up to twice a day, with one direct flight and one flight with a stopover in Hamburg.

Reserved parking can be managed online at www.okparking.cz using your name and reservation code.

 

Several parking options in different price categories are offered at every destination, either directly at airports or at parking buildings or lots at different distances from the airport. If parking is selected away from the airport premises, transfers between the departure or arrival terminal and the parking area are part of the service provided.

 

The OK Parking service is available in 9 languages. Alongside Czech and English, there are also French, German, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Russian and Spanish versions.

1 December 2016 - Czech Airlines Increases Weight Limit for Checked Baggage in Economy Class from 15 to 23 Kg

Effective 1 December 2016, Czech Airlines has unified the baggage transport policy in Economy Class and increased the weight limit for checked baggage from 15 to 23 kg on all Czech Airlines operated flights. The policy will even be applied by the carrier retrospectively for tickets purchased prior to 1 December 2016 to be used after December 1, 2016. The weight limit has also been increased from 15 to 23 kg for charged or additionally purchased checked baggage.

1 December 2016 - Czech Airlines Launches Sales of Five New Price Packages

Effective today, Czech Airlines is launching sales of five new Price and Product Packages within the category of Branded Fares. The new LITE, PLUS and FLEX packages for Economy Class and the BUSINESS LITE and BUSINESS packages for Business Class will replace the existing Value, Standard, Flexi and Business packages.

 

The introduction of Branded Fares is Czech Airlines’ reaction to aviation trends in Europe and client preferences. As an innovation, upon ticket purchases, all services included in the ticket price will be clearly visible to customers and all differences between the individual packages will be highlighted. Customers will thus get a clearer review of the offers and only select and pay for the services required. Thus, customers will be certain that they are purchasing something they are going to use. Branded Fares also allow a better combination of services included in the ticket price with additional services, thus creating an individual package based on customers’ needs.
