We offer parking at all airports operated by Czech Airlines regular scheduled flights or flights on a code-share basis with our partner airlines.
Booking parking from your place of departure is easy. Select a particular destination and your departure airport, add the date and time of departure and the car pick-up date. 1 December 2016 - Czech Airlines Increases Weight Limit for Checked Baggage in Economy Class from 15 to 23 Kg
Effective 1 December 2016, Czech Airlines has unified the baggage transport policy in Economy Class and increased the weight limit for checked baggage from 15 to 23 kg on all Czech Airlines operated flights. The policy will even be applied by the carrier retrospectively for tickets purchased prior to 1 December 2016 to be used after December 1, 2016. The weight limit has also been increased from 15 to 23 kg for charged or additionally purchased checked baggage.
Effective today, Czech Airlines is launching sales of five new Price and Product Packages within the category of Branded Fares. The new LITE, PLUS and FLEX packages for Economy Class and the BUSINESS LITE and BUSINESS packages for Business Class will replace the existing Value, Standard, Flexi and Business packages.
The introduction of Branded Fares is Czech Airlines’ reaction to aviation trends in Europe and client preferences. As an innovation, upon ticket purchases, all services included in the ticket price will be clearly visible to customers and all differences between the individual packages will be highlighted. Customers will thus get a clearer review of the offers and only select and pay for the services required. Thus, customers will be certain that they are purchasing something they are going to use. Branded Fares also allow a better combination of services included in the ticket price with additional services, thus creating an individual package based on customers’ needs.
Another advantage of the new Branded Fare Price Packages is their unified look and clear display within all distribution channels and better accessibility for all types of customers via direct and indirect means of sale.
The LITE package is designed for customers looking for the lowest price offer. It covers the transport of a passenger with only carry-on baggage from point A to point B. Other services are provided for a fee or not available (seat selection, refunds). The LITE package is now offered on all Czech Airlines regular flights except the Riyadh and Seoul long-haul routes at any point of sale until the aircraft capacity is completely sold out.
The PLUS package is the ideal choice for customers looking for an optimal price/extent of service ratio. Compared to the LITE package, it includes the transport of 1 piece of checked baggage and the option of advanced seat selection. The price difference between the PLUS and LITE packages is 20 EUR per segment.
The FLEX package has been designed for customers who prefer flexibility and multiple services included in the ticket price under an all-in offer. Compared to the PLUS package, it also allows free changes to existing reservation departure or arrival dates, supports the option of cancelling the ticket for 60 EUR per segment, the SkyPriority service, free transport of 1 piece of sports equipment (golf bag or skis) up to a maximum weight of 15 kg and light in-flight snacks. The price difference between the FLEX and PLUS packages is 40 EUR per segment.
The BUSINESS package is a package with the greatest value which includes complex services and premium travelling perks including full flexibility, such as free changes to departure or arrival dates and ticket refunds.
The new, better priced, BUSINESS LITE package for travel in Business Class is designed for passengers who want to enjoy complex services and all the perks of premium travelling but do not require departure and arrival date flexibility, i.e. changes for a fee. Tickets purchased under this package cannot be cancelled.
More details regarding new Czech Airlines Price Packages can be found here.
Information regarding the changes applied to tickets purchased before 1 December 2016 to be used after December 1, 2016, is available here.

Flight safety is our utmost priority. Therefore, effective immediately, Czech Airlines has decided to restrict and ban the transport of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 telephones on all its flights. We ask passengers not to transport these telephones in checked baggage, carry-on baggage or on their person.
Together with the launch of a new, more user-friendly, version of the online check-in service with enhanced graphic comprehensibility, we have extended the option of ordering selected complementary services. You can now purchase the selected services last-minute while checking-in on our website or at the self-check-in kiosks at Václav Havel Airport Prague. Effective the beginning of June 2016, you can thus comfortably reserve your preferred seat or pay for excess baggage anytime from 36 hours to 1 hour prior to departure.
A new Gourmet Menu offer has been added to the list of meal options offered in Economy Class. Besides the Business Menu, which is a menu identical to that served in Business Class on the flight, passengers can now select from two cold menus, two hot menus and one vegetarian menu as part of the Gourmet Menu service. The offer includes, for example, beef bourguignon with potato-celery purée and a chicken steak in a Parmesan crust au gratin with a herb sauce and grilled aubergine.
Alongside the hot or cold meal, the Gourmet Menu also features, for example, a salad, a selection of cheeses, herb-marinated mozzarella cheese with tomatoes or cheese-stuffed mini bell peppers with olives, a fresh pastry, butter and three drinks of your choice: one soft drink (water, Coke, juice), one hot beverage (coffee, tea) and one alcoholic drink (Moravian wine, Pilsner beer).
Prices of the new menus do not vary from the established Business Menu offer, i.e. cold Gourmet Menus cost EUR 8, hot menus are available for EUR 12 and vegetarian menus for EUR 10 or the local currency equivalent.
The Gourmet Menu service can be purchased together with the ticket or at a later date using the My Bookings application. The Gourmet Menu is offered on Czech Airlines jet-aircraft-operated flights only. It is not available on ATR-aircraft-operated flights. Learn more about the Gourmet Menu offer here.
Earlier today, Czech Airlines and airberlin launched their code-share-based co-operation. Both carriers will thus be able to add new routes and destinations to their schedules. Czech Airlines clients will enjoy direct flights between Prague and Berlin or a daily connection to Keflavik in Iceland under OK code, while airberlin customers will profit from a better connectivity between Germany and the Czech Republic or Slovakia.
Czech Airlines will add to its schedule a daily connection between Prague and Berlin operated by airberlin. The carrier will also have its OK code on all flights to Keflavik in Iceland, operated by airberlin from Berlin, Düsseldorf and Hamburg, connecting to the Czech Airlines arrivals from Prague. Czech tourists will thus be able to enjoy a daily connection to Keflavik during the main summer season, without lengthy wait for a connecting flight.
airberlin will place its AB code on five routes operated by Czech Airlines – specifically between Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Prague as well as from Prague to Ostrava and Košice. airberlin will thus be able to offer its clients up to two nonstop daily connections from Düsseldorf and Frankfurt to Prague and a daily connection between Hamburg and Prague.
Tickets are bookable as of today through airberlin.com or czechairlines.com, travel agencies and via the service centres of both airlines.
Czech Airlines is extending its transport network and, on 21 June 2016, is relaunching its regular service between Beirut and Prague. The route will be operated as seasonal with Czech Airlines servicing two weekly frequencies. The Prague – Beirut route ticket sales have already been launched via all distribution channels. One-way tickets start at EUR 147, while return tickets can be purchased from EUR 291, including all charges.
Czech Airlines is relaunching the Prague – Beirut route after more than a four-year-break. The carrier will operate two return flights a week on the route, departing Prague on Mondays and Thursdays in the evening. In the reverse direction, flights will leave Beirut on Tuesdays and Fridays in the early morning hours.
Departures from Prague are scheduled for 9:45 p.m. and arrive in Beirut at 2:15 a.m. the next day, while return flights from Beirut will take-off at 3:10 a.m. with arrivals in Prague at 6:05 a.m. The Prague – Beirut flight takes three and a half hours, while the return Beirut – Prague service lasts nearly four hours.
Czech Airlines will use modern Airbus A319 jet aircraft in a two-travel-class configuration, Business and Economy, to operate the Prague – Beirut flights. For now, the route connecting the Czech and Lebanese capitals will be operated as seasonal with the last Prague – Beirut flight of this season provided on 29 September 2016.
Historically, the first flight to Beirut was operated by Czech Airlines (as Czechoslovak Airlines) on 2 September 1948. The route was serviced without interruption until 13 February 2012, when its operations were temporarily discontinued due to the company’s restructuring process. After more than four years, Czech Airlines has now renewed the route service under the same flight numbers, OK 296 and OK 297, and with the same departure times.
1 April 2016 - Czech Airlines to Launch Historic First Direct Air Connection between Riyadh and Prague

This summer season, Czech Airlines will launch regular scheduled operations on routes to Malta, Birmingham, Helsinki, Pisa, Zagreb, Skopje, Odessa, Kaliningrad, Kazan and Ufa. A seasonal service connecting Riyadh and Prague, which will be operated by Czech Airlines from the beginning of July to the end of September, is a new addition to the timetable. Other new destinations, such as Ajaccio, Alghero, Kefolinia, Rovaniemi, Oulu, Turku, Vaasa, Bergen and Trondheim will be added to the timetable thanks to co-operation with Travel Service, Finnair and SAS Scandinavian Airlines. This summer season, Czech Airlines will operate regular scheduled flights to 47 destinations in 23 countries and, in co-operation with its partners, to more than 130 destinations in 44 countries.
This summer season, Czech Airlines will slightly increase its operation year-on-year. The carrier will launch and relaunch 11 destinations in West and East Europe and in the Near East. For this reason, the carrier’s fleet will be enhanced by two aircraft. For the main summer season, i.e. from May 2016, the company will wet-lease a Boeing 737-400 OM-GTB for six months, and from the end of April, it will expand the fleet by a fourth in-line ATR 72-500 aircraft with the OK-MFT registration mark.
Czech Airlines plans to offer a year-round service to Birmingham, Helsinki, Zagreb, Skopje, Kaliningrad, Kazan and Ufa. The carrier will handle the first flights to the new destinations in the second half of April, with the exception of Helsinki, where operations were launched on 3 march 2016. During May and June, Czech Airlines will add frequencies on selected routes based on demand trends. Czech Airlines will provide 5 return flights a week to Birmingham, 4 to Zagreb, 3 to Skopje and 2 weekly frequencies to Kaliningrad, Kazan and Ufa. Moreover, this summer, Czech Airlines will launch new seasonal routes to Malta, Pisa in Italy and Odessa in Ukraine. Of last year’s new destinations which proved successful, Czech Airlines will operate regular summer connections to Bilbao, Porto, Liverpool, Linköping and Växjö in Sweden and year-round services to Venice, Billund and Bologna. Compared to last summer, the company has prepared a boost for our connections to Italy. Czech Airlines will fly daily to Venice and Bologna – the new timetable additions of last year, and the company will also add frequencies on its routes to Milan and Rome. Czech Airlines will also enhance its service to Kyiv, adding a direct Prague – Kyiv connection to the company's schedule and keeping the Košice – Kyiv connection which was launched last May and has successfully established its position in the market.
Czech Airlines will add more than 10 new destinations to its new summer schedule thanks to its co-operation with partner airlines. Czech Airlines will thus offer within its entire distribution network, including its own website, connections to Rovaniemi, Oulu, Turku and Vaasa in Finland as well as Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger in Norway. Seven destinations in Japan will again be included in Czech Airlines’ schedule. Czech Airlines will also expand co-operation with its traditional partner, Travel Service, on the Ajaccio, Alghero and Kefalonia routes.
The summer timetable is in effect until 29 October 2016.
